After releasing his first single of new project Konnichiwa, it was only a matter of time before the Boy Better Know front man dropped the visuals for his track, Shutdown. Released on the same day as its official release via iTunes, the video sees Skepta and Co posted up in and around Barbican in almost regimental black and white attire. The piece was directed by Grace LaDoja, who previously worked with Skepta on her documentary looking at the relationship between Grime and Nike Air Max. The video highlights Skepta’s new mantra of less is more and with Konnichiwa set to drop later this year, Shutdown is surely a sign of things to come.
