On Kanye West’s latest trip to the UK, he has been making headlines with his ground breaking performance of ‘All Day’ at the Brits to his inspirational speech at Oxford University. Skepta has also been featured heavily in the press through the release of his new track ‘Shutdown’ and this was highlighted by a recent piece in The Source magazine entitled “Who Is Skepta?”(1). With both making movements in the UK and US respectively, it was only a matter of time before these two artists collaborated.

This story has broke through an interview with Jonny Park who called Capital XTRA who revealed that while getting to meet Kanye and receiving a free pair of Yeezy 750 Boosts, Ye shared info on his upcoming album;

“He said he was in the studio with Skepta at the moment and he also said the first single from the album is going to be ‘All Day’ and it’s going to feature Theophilus London and Allan Kingdom. And it’s going to have a piece from Paul McCartney on the end,” Park said.

With both West’s new album So Help Me God, and Skepta’s Konnichiwa, just around the corner, it remains to be seen which will contain this exciting collaboration.
