Our Resident writer Starrish Tay is back giving you a round up of dope visuals and performances released from emerging and established UK artists over the weekend.
First up is Coinz with Searching. Coinz lights up this mellow track with hard-hitting lyrics and life concept grips you. Somehow Coinz has managed to stay a hidden gem even though he keeps growing artistically. This track will be the first of many shots he’ll get to make an impression in this tough industry.
Don Slickz fires up a quick freestyle on Holby City. Going sick on a remake of the Holby City theme and paying homage to my hometown North West London this had to make the list. It’ll take more than a minute and a half to turn into one of the biggest names hailing from NW but it is only the first track from him in 2015
Seejay100’s latest track Living Life featuring DVS and Victoria is the joint to watch. The vibe, the scenic views and DVS’s Versace robe make great viewing. I’d have preferred an above singer but Seejay100 keeps the focus on him with his effortless verse. DVS is a distinguishable artist anyway and does what he always do, makes his mark with suave vocals and clothing.
Here’s Sneakbo with a great new club banger featuring afrobeats artist Moelogo, but the same old flow. It’s catchy, it makes you want to dance, you already know it’s going to be played out everywhere and if that’s not enough reasons to check it out, the gorgeous Shaybo and Gift Of The Gab’s Legendary Li also make appearances in the video. It’d be great to hear Sneakbo play with the Jetski for some new waves and splashes this year.
Good Intentions is the debut release of fresh R&B artist, Rich Tea. This track is guaranteed to be a favourite with the girls with its super sexy, Mr. Steal Yo Girl and slow-mo twerk feel to it.
The latest visual released from Big Tobz debut Winning EP, provides a sexy slow jam you can fling on in the car, the kitchen, the bedroom, with the mains, the sides, whatever. The instrumental is the epiphany of sexy, and Big Tobz says a lot of great stuff without being soft or cheesy.
You might have watched some ‘good’ UK music videos over the weekend, but these are the best of the best.
