asics are celebrating 25 years of the Gel Lyte III silhouette with a collab with AFEW called the ‘KOI KLUB’ As we would expect from an anniversary collab there are a few luxury touches in the mix. The sneaker is made up of rich buffed suede and perforated suede. The colourway hasn’t changed since the 2012 AFEW x alife collaboration also on the Gel Lyte III oddly called the same name. Whether its a lazy reissue or a way of cementing a silhouette into the asics legacy the 2015 version has a better outsole better materials and even wooden lace holes all of which aren’t on the former sneaker.
