Since we wrote our feature ‘Fashion x Music Visuals: The New Culture Trend’ more brands have jumped on the wave of using Music videos to promote collections. The new video collabs have replaced subtle product placement campaigns in an aggressive marketing strategy to convert music fans into brand audiences. We have spotted four new visuals that have followed the trend, check them out below.

Giggs – ‘Whippin Excursiom’ ( Giggs x Puma )

Giggs ‘Whipping Excursion’ sees a huge Puma Suede Co-sign throughout the visual, even though this is more subtle the fact that every person in the visual is wearing Puma Suedes and the cutaway shots catch the fresh new sneakers shows that Puma are looking to expand on their growing influence within the UK Rap/Grime scene.

Ayo Beatz – Kangol ( Ayo Beatz x Kangol )

With a self titled video and a huge array of Kangol hats in the visual we don’t have to take two guesses to see which brand UK Artist/Producer Ayo Beatz has linked up with for this one.

Pogba x Stormzy – adidas Football Freestyle ( Stormzy x adidas )

Stormzy ‘supposedly’ uploaded this 48 seconds clip of him and Pogba dressed head to toe in the adidas x Man United Kit with the South London Rapper’s NIGO Duppy freestyle playing in the background to further fuel and finally settle the rumours of Manchester United securing their latest signing Paul Pogba. adidas’ relationship with Stormzy is no secret so this will of course have slipped under the radar of many who watched it as a Music x Fashion visual but even one of the biggest sportswear brands in the world can jump on trends. If you read our article on ‘Fashion x Music Visuals: The New Culture Trend’ you will see that the brand along with Stormzy actually kicked things off last year with their NIGO Duppy freestyle visual.

Keith Ape – Diamonds ft Jedi ( Keith Ape x Converse )

Keith Ape teamed up with Converse for this trippy visual for his latest single ‘Diamonds’ featuring Jedi P, the brand is focusing on their lifestyle silhouettes a lot more this year moving slightly away from their popular skate silhouettes and going for a more fashion conscious customer. The video is very well shot and wavy and the special effects ensure that you are fully entertained as well as being shown every angle of the Chuck Taylor All Star II Shield Canvas silhouette and their new collection of menswear apparel.
